Algunas vuelven a coincidir.

Guarda algo dentro. Sus brazos siguen disponibles.

Kera inhabits an urban region of Monstrarium Vivens. It lives among buildings, streets, windows, crossings, and places built so that thousands of bodies can coincide for a few seconds before continuing in different directions. It likes to watch people walk. It can spend hours following that movement, watching someone appear at the far end of a street, come closer, cross its field of vision, and disappear. It also watches time. The city allows Kera to see it passing through small alterations, in the amount of light on a façade, in a street becoming empty, in someone arriving late, in someone waiting.

Kera is quiet and patient. It watches for a long time before approaching and rarely interrupts what is happening in front of it. Its stillness coexists with constant attention. It recognizes rhythms, routes, pauses, and distances. There is something in human movement that interests Kera deeply, perhaps because Kera possesses an ability that depends precisely on reducing the distance between two bodies.

Kera can embrace.

That ability is part of it and contains one of its strangest qualities. Kera holds an inner magic that it rarely shares. When it finally allows that magic to emerge, it happens through contact. Its arms wrap around another body, and during that interval something of what Kera keeps inside can be given. The embrace has a duration, a physical limit, and an inevitable moment when the arms separate again.

Kera embodies the fear that distance may make contact impossible.

It knows proximity and therefore also knows the space left behind when two bodies move apart. A street can separate. A crowd can separate. Time can do the same. Kera watches every day as people meet, brush against one another, wait for one another, and keep walking. Some cross paths again. Others disappear among hundreds of bodies and never return to its field of vision.

Its patience is born within that world. Kera knows how to wait. It can preserve for a long time what it has not yet shared, even when it does not know whether someone capable of receiving it will ever arrive. Its magic remains stored during those periods. The fear appears at the possibility that the distance may grow too great, that its arms may forever retain the ability to hold a body while none remains close enough to be held.

Its own formation has required that same patience. Kera has emerged in fragments, and each material has imposed its own time. It first appeared on paper through watercolor, took on volume in ceramic, and passed through wax before reaching silver. Its current color belongs to the metal, an irregular silver surface that seems to have melted over its body and still carries traces of transformation.

Within Monstrarium Vivens, Kera accompanies. Its presence allows closeness without demanding it. It remains in the city, watching people walk and letting the hours pass before it. It keeps something inside. Its arms remain available.
